Gnarliest Motocross crash (short video MUST SEE)
For this group of friends, it was a normal day of racing but one mistake led everyone straight to the HOSPITAL. A motocross crash is no joke at all. From broken femurs to death, motocross can be considered one of the most dangerous sports the world has. It just takes one misplaced rock or one bad shift. I present you one of the GNARLIEST and CRAZIEST crashes motocross has had and will have. Prepare yourself to see something never before seen, something that will blow you out of this world. I like to call this video the ''When everything goes absolutely wrong'' video. Buckle up for serious disbelief and probably a small laughter.

Red Bull Straight Rhythm Analysis
Can we see Super cross races like this in the near future?
There are many questions and doubts regarding this style of racing. If you miss
or fail a jump the injury can be extremely high due to the speed. Techniques
will have to change as well as the bike. Techniques such as scrubbing harder
and practice start more than turns. The bike setting will probably change to a
faster and with more torque bike. This can heavily influence big industries
since they will not focus on handling but more on speed or suspensions. With
this being said, it can be inferred that racing can get really interesting.
There can be more competition and probably new riders can now participate. The
question now is, how far are we from this type of competition, 5 years, 10
years. Also another question can be, what racers will accept this challenge?
Many riders are known for their incredible turning and rut speeds. In this
races, they would be heavily influenced without turns.
Scrubbing will be a technique that must me mastered in order
to gain time. With a perfect scrub, you can gain essential time, giving you
space to breathe. This will change practice formats and basically the whole
sport. The riders will have to train scrubs and get used to the speed.
Whoops are also a major part of the straight rhythm. Not all
riders can pass the whoops as James Stewart or Justin Bogle. Many will have to
practice and believe me, practicing whoops are hard, or you go HAM or nothing.
Whoops are extremely challenging as well as it requires technique, keeping the
balls of your feet on the pegs and pressing hard in the legs as well as a
constant flow of acceleration.
The winner will
be the one who throws it down harder and goes faster.

YZ 2014 YAMAHA
Back in 2001, Yamaha introduced a bike that changed modern motocross racing before our eyes. The YZ250F quickly rose to the top of professional racing. Other manufacturers were forced to catch-up while Yamaha enjoyed having a superior bike. Yamaha remained the only manufacturer without a fuel injected 250.
The term “all-new” is often times used loosely, but in Yamaha’s case, it’s easier to point out the few parts they carried over from 2013 rather than review the many changes made to the 2014 model. It’s literally an all-new bike. The chassis, cylinder, transmission, clutch, intake, exhaust, gas tank, handlebar mounts...
Many of the characteristics from the YZ450F carried over to the 250. Their goal—and also the recent trend with other manufacturers—is to improve mass centralization, which aims to improve overall handling.
The suspension changes to the 2014 model weren’t as drastic as most of the changes to the bike, which may have led to a more familiar feeling in the way it handle. Yamaha hasn’t claimed a 250 title here in the U.S. since Jason Lawrence won the 2008 Supercross West Region.

How to Position Yourself For A Motocross Start And FUNNY GAGS
Starts
Races can be won and lost on the start. Motocross expert, Ricky Carmichael said that a good start can assure you a win race if you can handle the pressure. Starts have been divided into two sections, concrete and dirt starts. Concrete starts are usually used by amateur riders and they require a slighlty
Dirt starts are quite different and hard to get used to. Prepare the surface where your rear wheel will be driving out of the gate. Kick some dirt into the rut left from previous starts and press it down. This will give you a harder and smoother surface. The only real difference from concrete starts is to have your weight forward on the bike and to pick a lower gear because there will be a lot more traction as the gate drops.

Motocross 2013 Update
Two champions were crowned at the motocross event in the new track in Utah. Ryan Villopoto clinched the 2013 450 AMA title at Miller Motosports Park. After winning both motos, Kawasaki rider captured his second motocross Championship. In the 250, Eli Tomac won his first motocross title in the lites class. Villopoto go the holeshot for the first Moto and quickly got away. He held a 7 second lead in the first couple of laps. Ryan Dungey who was the title defender needed to win Villopoto to keep his chances alive. Unfortunately, by the time he got passsed Justin Brayton who was second, Villopoto was too far to be seen. Villopoto and Dungey finished first and second in Moto 1, which allowed Villopoto to be closer to winning that title. Villopoto's outstanding performance at the Utah National was enough to grab the 2013 championship.
Heading into Moto 2, the 250 Class Championship was still available for Tomac and the KTM rider Ken Rockzen. Justin Bogle (Eli Tomac's team mate) grabbed the holeshot. Roczen took over the lead in lap 7 until Tomac started to pressure Roczen. In a few laps, Tomac took over the lead and showed what he was made off. Although Tomac had the advantage on Roczen in Moto 2, the championship wasn't completely over until Baggett entered the second place battle with Roczen. Baggett's last-lap pass on Roczen was enough to give Tomac the points he needed to secure the 250 Class Championship with an overall win.
